Questions often arise when repairing batteries!
Shipping instructions
Your battery should arrive safely with us for repair!

Source: UPS, Safe Packaging and Shipping of Batteries
- Do not use envelopes or other soft mailing bags; use shock-resistant outer packaging instead.
- The batteries must be securely padded and packaged to prevent the end caps from slipping or loosening during transport.
- Any short circuit or activation of the lithium batteries in the shipment during transport must be avoided.
- Ensure that no battery can come into contact with another battery, conductive surfaces or metal objects during transport.
- Each battery should be packed (individually) in a hermetic inner packaging made of non-conductive material (e.g. plastic bags).
- Ensure that exposed terminals or connections are protected with non-conductive caps, non-conductive tape, or other suitable means.
- Ensure that no small parts such as paper scraps or polystyrene can get into the battery, for example in the fan slots.
- Ensure that the battery has no external damage that could cause liquids to leak, for example.
- Also pack your charger. However, we do not need your charger for Bosch and VanMoof batteries.
- You can optionally enclose the completed order form or your order number. However, this is not mandatory.
- Note: The battery is a lithium-ion battery. Special transport regulations apply to this type of battery, which are subject to the ADR (dangerous goods on the road). Please observe the instructions and requirements of your shipping partner!
